We are pleased to announce that Singularity Experts has been declared winner of the competition at South Summit, in the Education category. South Summit is the most important innovation event in southern Europe, bringing together leading startups globally.
This 10th edition of South Summit was co-organized by the City Council of Madrid and IE University, and has been taking place at La Nave facilities, the innovation center of the City Council, since 2016. The event has BBVA, Mutua Madrileña, AstraZeneca, Endesa, Wayra Telefónica Innovation, Google for Startups, and BStartup by Banco Sabadell as global partners. Each year, it brings together the Spanish and global entrepreneurial ecosystem at La Nave, filling the space completely for three days.
The hundred startups that made it to the final phase were previously selected from over 3,000 applications, with 70% of them being international. The selection was carried out by a committee of experts composed of recognized investors and innovation experts. The main criteria considered were the level of innovation, scalability, internal growth potential, investment capacity, and the characteristics of each company's team, among others.
It was a privilege to be one of the 100 finalist candidates, but to be crowned winners in our Education category at an international event of this caliber, and considering the high level of competition from other proposals, has been an incredible milestone for us. It further motivates us to continue working hard to provide quality academic and professional guidance to every student and professional, and to increase the employability in our country.
